Za’Atar Marjoram is native to Mediterranean areas such as Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan and is used in many Mediterranean dishes. The flavors of Sweet Marjoram, Oregano and Thyme come together in this one herb. The gray-green leaves have been used for thousands of years to flavor meats and breads. It is said to lean a little more toward the Thyme flavor than Marjoram. They do produce small white bloom spikes that can also be used.
Spacing: Plant 36” to 48” apart. (Much smaller if grown in a container.)
Height: Grows 3’ to 6’ tall. (Much smaller if grown in a container.)
